National Dentex Dental Lab Technician III (Fixed-Implant) in Orlando, Florida

Description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Florida Lab in Orlando, FL for a Dental Lab Technician III (Fixed-Implant).

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.

  • Conduct in-line and final inspections of fixed products to ensure a quality product is delivered to customers on a daily basis.

  • Inspect cases ensuring doctor’s preferences are acknowledged and satisfied and RX and TTPs have been accurately followed.

  • Return cases that need to be corrected and provide feedback to team members who produce substandard work, and provide feedback to Department Manager of identified trends.

  • Be available to provide team members with technical support, case evaluations, and on-the-spot training.

  • Technical communication with customers via phone and/or email

  • Communicate with production labs as needed on cases being fabricated.

  • Assist in the production of fixed prosthetics

  • Order parts as needed

  • Pour up/Work up fixed/implant models

  • Scan models

  • All other duties as assigned.

    Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity

  • Detail oriented

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Must have a minimum of three years experience as a Dental Lab Technician

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

  • Hand pieces

  • Sand blaster

  • Computer

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods at a time
