System One is immediately hiring for a Capture/Business Development Lead in the Central Florida area! This is a permanent opportunity with full benefits!

A global leader in modeling and simulation software that links, simulates and visualizes virtual worlds in networked synthetic environments is looking for a Capture/Business Development Manager to work with our elite sales team. Continuing a tradition that stretches back almost three decades, our tools are used by the world’s top organizations for training, experimentation, mission rehearsal, research and development, and virtual prototyping.

The Capture/Business Development Manager will help define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, lead proposal efforts, negotiates and closes business, and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Significant travel (50%+) may be required.

PREFERRED DEGREE TYPES AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Led Capture Team(s) on full and open competitive awards with the DOD.

  • Led and/or supported proposal efforts for DOD contracts.

  • Demonstrated results in facilitating sustainable business growth model.

  • Initiated partnerships and teaming relationships for competitive pursuits.

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent with 20 years of relevant experience in a related field.

  • Candidates must also possess excellent written/verbal communications skills, presentation skills, organizational time management skills, team building skills, and display a strong sales presence.

  • Knowledge of the DOD acquisition process and sufficient technical background to verify and shape our capture strategies Line of Business and company level.

  • Military Experience Preferred.
