    POSITION SUMMARY

    An Andretti Banquet Set Up Team Member is responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

    Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Banquet Set-Up Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and preparing various events, including birthday parties, corporate gatherings, and banquets. They will ensure the efficient set-up and tear-down of event spaces, maintain cleanliness standards, and provide exceptional customer service to all guests.

    Responsibilities:

  • Organize and prepare event spaces for various functions, including setting up portable bars, buffets, stages, podiums, and audio equipment.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and condition of banquet facilities, including cleaning, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets as needed.

  • Restock portable bars and ensure they are clean and presentable throughout events.

  • Set up and tear down tables, chairs, stages, and audio equipment according to event requirements.

  • Refresh meeting spaces and guest rooms, ensuring they are set up appropriately for functions.

  • Provide excellent customer service by listening to guests' needs and fulfilling their requests during banquet events.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times, adhering to high standards of customer service.

  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth execution of events and address any issues that may arise.

  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff during events.

    Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in event set-up and hospitality preferred.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects as needed.

  • Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and basic troubleshooting skills preferred.

  • Professional demeanor and appearance.

  • Willingness to uphold company policies and standards.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certification is a plus.

    Physical Requirements
