Trachte, LLC Design Automation Engineer (SolidWorks & DriveWorks) in Oregon, Wisconsin

The Design Automation Engineer will assist in the programming and implementation of engineering technology and customizations. This person will be part of a small team of programmers/designers for Trachte’s automated design solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing automated design solutions in DriveWorks

  • Work with others to collect and organize design requirements

  • Design in SolidWorks or with a SolidWorks designer

  • Implement initial and ongoing design automation training

  • Coordinate SQL data communication

  • Proficient in Solidworks including: Part Design, Sheet Metal Design, Assemblies, and Drawings

  • Background in basic programming logic (Excel based, Visual Basic or SQL)

  • Ability to problem solve complex issues between multiple departments.

  • Experience in leading engineering projects through development.

  • Mechanical Aptitude or Fabrication Experience

Requirements

  • Proficient in Solidworks including: Part Design, Sheet Metal Design, Assemblies, and Drawings

  • Background in basic programming logic (Excel based, Visual Basic or SQL)

  • Ability to problem solve complex issues between multiple departments.
