Senior Mechanical Engineer - Position and Responsibilities As a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Middough, you will organize and execute work tasks across multiple projects. This position is on-site at the client facility in Oregon, OH. In this role, you will provide technical and engineering support on assigned tank projects requiring inspection and maintenance in accordance with API 653 and API 650 standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Work with a multi-discipline team to assist in continuous improvement on the integrity and reliable service of existing tanks, piping systems and instrumentation. Provide technical design and engineering oversight of project scope for assigned tanks projects through project completion. Gather and evaluate inspection records, existing drawings, operational information, and maintenance work orders to support work scope development. Prepare, review and/or work with engineering team and/or general contractor in developing of the construction work packages that may include scope of work, pipe class description, detailed equipment and pipe drawings, material takeoffs, support systems, specification sheets and vendor quotes. Ensure compliance with applicable Site Engineering Practices, Codes and Standards. Develop field procedures in support of implementing the tank outage plans that may include cleaning techniques and procedures, hydrotest procedures, inspection coordination and completions documentation. Effectively communicate with supervision and other project team members on status and development of projects. Understand and support the Management of Change process. Education, Experience and Skills The successful candidate will possess the following: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar with experience required. 10+ years of experience. Ability to multi-task and be highly organized for effective project planning and completion. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
