National Garden Service, founded in 2019, is a full-service, live goods merchandising company that provides exclusive outdoor floral services for The Kroger Company (and subsidiaries) nationwide.   • This position will service the following Kroger location(s): #617 - 4633 Suder Ave. Toledo, OH 43611 #938 - 3301 Navarre Ave. Oregon, OH 43616

As a Live Goods Merchandiser, your workday will include:

  • Receive and stage a variety of outdoor plants, including Christmas trees, wreaths and other assorted, seasonal products
  • Build and maintain product displays
  • Water all plant materials (spring-fall)
  • Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed (spring-fall)
  • Keep product neatly organized
  • Ensure proper signage is in place
  • Maintain a safe and clean display area
  • Remove and record expired plant material
  • Interacting with store personnel and customers
  • Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
  • Complete report for each store serviced
  • Document every visit using the Repsly app where available

As a Live Goods Merchandiser, you will be required to:

  • Have a smart phone
  • Have dependable transportation
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively
  • Understand and execute planograms
  • Work outdoors in all element
