CNC Repair Technician

2nd Shift; Mon – Fri: 2:30PM – 12:00AM

Hourly pay rate: $22.00 - $36.00 DOE plus 10% Shift Differential

RESPONSIBILITY:

Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, CNC equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools, power tools, and reassemble equipment.

  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.

  • Assist in resolving problems, delays, and difficulties. Notify Supervisor if problems arise.

  • Provide technical assistance on new or existing equipment.

  • Troubleshoot machine tools and repair as needed. Qualify equipment for production run.

    EDUCATION / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

  • Three to five (3-5) years related experience and/or training in equipment maintenance in a manufacturing setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Related experience on diagnosing and repairing machine tools- CNC lathe, mill, screw machines, etc.

  • High mechanical ability and aptitude.

  • Must possess a working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, welding, soldering, and other related skills.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying 21-50lbs.
