We are currently looking for a Welder to join our team in the Carolinas!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Primary function is to fabricate and assemble metal structures and products using welders, cutters, and shapers

  • Certified Welder, Flux Core: flat, vertical, and overhead.

  • Fabricate and assemble Overhead Bridge Cranes according to job order, verbal instructions, and blueprints.

  • Develop layout and plans sequence of operations, applying knowledge of trigonometry, stock allowances for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and physical properties of metal.

  • Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as welders, punches, flame cutters, and drill presses.

  • Ability to design and construct templates and fixtures.

  • Ability to verify conformance of work piece to specifications

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.

  • Ability to work in confined spaces.

  • Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.

  • Must be able to see details at close range.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

  • Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
