Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description:

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for using basic tools and inspection equipment to produce quality parts in accordance with the production schedule. You will perform minor equipment maintenance, secure qualified First Piece Inspection after setup, report parts production, separate scrap parts by shift, and report downtime. You will work cooperatively with the team to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Use basic tools and inspection equipment/gauges to inspect parts.

  • Produce quality parts to satisfy the production schedule.

  • Perform minor equipment maintenance as required.

  • Secure a qualified First Piece Inspection after setup.

  • Report parts production and separate scrap parts by shift.

  • Report downtime through shift reports.

  • Work cooperatively to achieve the production schedule.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in production.

  • One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previously held a machine operator position.
