CAD Technician
Location: Orange, CA

Responsibilities: As a CAD Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our geologists and engineers. Your responsibilities include:
Preparing site location maps, site plot plans, and technical data maps.
Creating engineering and utility drawings.
Collaborating with technical staff to provide accurate drawings based on conceptual sketches and feedback.
Manipulating standard CAD commands and functions efficiently.
Maintaining site plans to conform to appropriate CAD standards.
Using point data received from the field to create detailed site maps.
Assisting engineers in generating construction plans.
Updating legacy documents to current standards.
Working independently or collaboratively as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associate’s degree in drafting/design or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Applicable industry experience, especially in environmental consulting, is highly desired.
Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Familiarity with related software programs and online data sources.
Experience with data/database entry and working with field GPS/survey data.
Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Additional Opportunity: As a bonus, there’s an opportunity for the CAD Technician to receive GIS training. Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) using ESRI software is a plus!
