Insight Global Senior Accountant in Orange Beach, Alabama
Job Description
1) Analyze data and provide insights into performance, trends, and areas of improvement or concern, assisting in decision making processes
2) Support cross functional teams with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
3) Support overall financial management functions including billing, AR, AP, job costing, treasury management, and the general ledger
4) Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports to third party service providers, owners, and managers
5) Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, collaborating with managers
6) Collaborate with project managers on job cost accounting to track and forecast project costs and profitability
7) Collaborate with 3rd party CPA firm for preparation of annual financial statement review, tax returns, and regulatory filings
8) Collaborate with Controller to maintain and update the ERP/general ledger system
9) Evaluate and implement improvements to financial systems, processes, controls, and workflows
10) Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Skills and Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in accounting and data analytics software
- Through knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial insights including visuals
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Data Analytics experience
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year end process
- Quickbooks or similar software familiarity - Advanced degree in accounting
- CPA (Willing to provide financial support for candidates wanting to obtain CPA)
