Manac Trailers USA Inc Maintenance Supervisor in Oran, Missouri

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews job orders to determine work priorities and schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.

Coordinates activities with contractors or maintenance workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.

Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.

Enforces preventive maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.

Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.

Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.

Recommends, plans, develops, solicits quotes for new equipment and press, implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor materials.

Reviews new product plans and discusses equipment needs and modifications with design engineers.

Requisitions of tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.

Directs training and indoctrination of maintenance to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.

Confers with management, engineering, and quality assurance personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.

Learns and obeys the health and safety rules of the company.

Maintains high level of housekeeping.

Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Manges Maintenance and capital expense budgets as well as determines ROI on equipment purchases.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate processes, expectations, and goals to the team to keep them informed and engaged.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent teamwork skills by treating employees like equal members to encourage involvement and maintaining/increasing morale.

Demonstrate important social skills such as empathy to handle employee issues and complaints.

Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently to the appropriate employee while recognizing employees’ strengths/weaknesses to utilize them as effectively as possible.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Willingness to learn by increasing skills/knowledge for continuous improvement.

Ability to work well under pressure and make tough decisions.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Two-year certificate form college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certification in any of the mechanical trades, preferably electronics
