Detailed Description

The Supplier Agreement Analyst role in supply chain management is responsible for managing the supply agreement process, to centrally and independently apply reputable calculations and analysis of data to supplier invoicing, to review and approve negotiated contracts to ensure applicability and compliance to company standard.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • General knowledge of supply chain environment, purchasing practices and procedures.

  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills with attention to details to enable ongoing incremental results

  • Ability to consolidate and analyze large quantities of data

  • Computer skills (specifically Microsoft Suite, especially MS Excel and Google Apps for Business); Experience with SAP Accounts Payable and Materials Management Module preferred

  • Ability to proactively resolve issues & problems internally and externally

  • Able to work assertively cross-functionally and with other sites to achieve objectives

  • Relentless focus on continuous improvement

  • Delivers flawless execution with an effective management system

  • Significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers

Typical Experience

  • 2 years of relevant experience, accounting or SCM background is preferred.

Typical Education

  • Post-secondary education or University Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business or consideration of equivalent combination of education and experience.
