Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Overall responsible for the software and digital solutions for the P3 product line. (Bi-directional power processing systems to test electric and hybrid electric vehicle components and sub-systems e.g., batteries). • Develop embedded software (C/C++) • Develop functional software using MATLAB Simulink • Work with offshore software development team • Creating all necessary software documentation • Work in close contact with responsible HQ department and follow global development guidelines • Partnering and outsourcing to proven partners will also be required, and tracking/reporting of project progress with outsource partners. • Participates in software requirements definition and documentation, conceptual designs, coding, test methodology, anomaly tracking and resolution, design reviews, and hardware/software debugging • Work with Field Service and Quality to provide Engineering support to customers • Support cross-functional team, including digital design, product engineering, test engineering and manufacturing/production engineering
