JOB REQUIREMENTS: Record patients\' medical information and vital signs. Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients\' conditions. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients\' responses and conditions. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Responsibilities: This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, policies, and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines. Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights. Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift. Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Participates as a member of the facility\'s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation, and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility\'s nursing services. Education and/or Experience Licensed with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required. Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program. 3 years experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred. Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid. Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
