About The Role Wheatland Bank is seeking an energetic Branch Operations Supervisor to be an integral part of our Omak Branch. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of developing and leading a team that is strong in customer service. This person selected for this position will be responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of the branch. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees branch staff including the activities of tellers and operations of personal bankers. Demonstrates a clear understanding of all deposit product offerings and customer referral program. Ensures implementation and compliance to meet security precautions and protect customer deposits, bank assets and staff. Processes, solves and answers customer transactions, problems and inquiries or refers inquiries to the appropriate department or person. Responsible for increasing deposit account openings, small business loan and consumer loan referrals. Works towards achieving deposit goals while promoting High Performance Growth (HPG) initiatives Ensures customers' requests and questions are promptly resolved. Handles customers' complaints. Ensures customers are informed of Company services and policies. Counsels customers regarding their financial needs and services requested. Actively supports and participates in NCB sponsored community events and activities and builds a strong reputation as a market leader to increase the Bank's recognition and perceived value in the marketplace while enhancing new and existing business opportunities. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. About You QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. One to two years of similar or related banking experience, including time spent in preparatory position KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY: The ability to work independently and part of a team Ability to supervise a team. Good knowledge of basic office equipment Excellent communication and customer service skills both verbal and written to maintain a heavy volume of correspondence, personal contact, and telephone communication. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Strong attention to detail. Ability to work within strict timeframes and meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task and handle complex tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.
