Food Services Supervisor

About the position:

The Food Service Supervisor will direct and oversee the daily operations of the Omak Kitchen including cooking/meal prep and ordering of food, food safety of all agency centers to ensure compliance with performance standards, food safety standards, and USDA requirements. Provide supervision of 8 staff that are located in multiple locations and training to food service employees and volunteers. Food Service Supervisor is also a member of the leadership team at OCCDA and will attend meetings, provide trainings, support policy updates, and oversee the implementation of the CACFP meal program.

  • Knowledgeable of USDA and food safety requirements/standards
  • Ability to plan formulate and execute record keeping procedures
  • Experience in supervision of personnel

Required Education and Experience:

  • ServSafe Manager Certification
  • Knowledge of food safety and USDA requirements
  • 5 years cooking experience for 25 people or more
  • 2 years experience supervising employees

The position is 40 hours per week for 52 weeks per year with a starting salary of $22.71 if qualified for the position. If not qualified for this position, please reach out to Josie Bent for details on our provisional hiring process.
