Job Information

ASM Global Warehouse Clerk in Omaha, Nebraska

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. All other duties and responsibilities maybe assigned.

  • Maintain inventory and stock of all supplies at all locations before and after event

  • Track all perishables and report to Concessions Manager

  • Document and assign transfers of inventory between warehouse and concession locations

  • Rotates inventory using First In First Out (FIFO) practices

  • Maintain rules and regulations of Health and Sanitation Laws, as well as safe transfer/storage procedures

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading and directing a small team of warehouse runners

  • Determine staffing levels with Concession Manager and assign workloads during events

  • Communicate job expectations and train new warehouse runners

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED Certification required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

  • Ability to communicate and execute instructions via radio

  • Ability to follow/read/understand building diagrams and maps

Physical Requirements

Constant standing and walking with frequent lift/push/pull items and objects weighing 10-15 pounds; Occasionally lift/push/pull objects weighing 30-60 pounds; rarely lift/push/pull objects such as kegs of beers, weighing 140-165 pounds. Repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.

Working Environment

  • Maybe exposed to vibrations during event cause by extreme noise

  • Maybe exposed to strobe lights/lasers during events

  • Maybe exposed to moderate to extreme noses during events

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Food Handlers Card or Servesafe Certificate

  • Alcohol Safe Certificate

Computer Skills

  • Knowledge and use of Quest Venue Manager to enter transfer (training on job)

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel

Hours of Work

Availability to work extended and/or irregular houses including nights, weekends, and holidays
