Overview

As a Utility Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of utility systems within the organization. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Maintenance and Repair: Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on utility equipment and systems, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

  2. Operation Monitoring: Monitoring utility systems to ensure proper functioning and identifying any issues or abnormalities that may arise.

  3. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with utility systems and equipment, and implementing appropriate solutions.

  4. Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance and repair tasks.

  5. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on utility systems.

  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other members of the maintenance team and relevant departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and tasks.

  7. Emergency Response: Responding promptly to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or power outages, to minimize downtime and ensure the uninterrupted operation of utility systems.

  8. Equipment Testing: Conducting regular testing and inspections of utility equipment to verify proper functioning and identify potential issues proactively.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in maintenance or utility operations preferred.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to utility systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available

  • Customer Service Experience
