Felsburg Holt & Ullevig Marketing Specialist / Proposal Writer - M0006 in Omaha, Nebraska

Unleash Your Joy! Felsburg Holt and Ullevig (FHU) is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing and Creative Communications (MC2) group. Join a tight-knit team of Marketing, Graphics and Communication professionals promoting the good things FHU is doing for employees, clients, and communities. Together we work with leadership and technical experts to increase firm awareness, differentiate FHU’s brand, and drive business development. This position is in our Great Plains Region and will support FHU’s offices in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.

A successful marketer at FHU is creative and collaborative, adaptable in the face of deadlines, and possesses a positive, healthy work ethic. Each workday brings new assignments giving you the opportunity to flex a wide variety of your marketing muscles. Key duties include:

  • Guiding message development, document layout, and production schedule of competitive proposals, client presentations, and marketing materials

  • Generating local content for FHU’s digital marketing, social media channels and company website

  • Updating company Client Relationship Management (CRM) database with project, client and pursuit information

  • Planning and supporting marketing events, campaigns, conferences, and outreach activities

  • Being part of a unified team where each person is working towards goals, growing professionally, and playing a part in something worthwhile

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or journalism preferred

  • 3+ years of proposal writing experience (A/E/C industry preferred)

  • Strong communication and document design skills

  • Creative and service-oriented personality

  • Attention to details and time management capabilities

  • Required Software Skills: Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite

  • Desired Software Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, Vantagepoint, WordPress
