Cash-Wa Distributing Buller Fixture - Equipment Installer in Omaha, Nebraska

Foodservice Equipment Installer - Buller

This position is part of a team that performs equipment installations and upgrades for a wide variety of customers to include restaurants, convenience stores, schools, healthcare facilities and more! Our customer base covers a wide territory which might include some travel. Ideally this candidate would live in or around the Omaha, NE, area which is where the Buller Equipment company is located.

Summary: Performing installations per customer requests and specifications.

Installation Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret kitchen design plans and blueprints to determine installation requirements.

  • As needed, will remove old equipment for disposal.

  • Measure and cut materials to fit specifications, ensuring proper fit and alignment.

  • Install equipment and ensure proper connections, then test for functionality and address any issues or defects.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and practices.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Experience & Qualifications:

  • Driver’s license and acceptable driving history is required.

  • Strong knowledge and experience of power tools, drills, saws, grinder, etc., is required.

  • Handyman experience preferred.

  • Ability to read constriction prints is helpful.

  • Basic computer skills helpful.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods at a time for travel to work locations.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 80 pounds occasionally.

  • Must be able to perform a multitude of physical activities (stand / walk / bend / squat / stoop / kneel) on a regular basis when performing installations.

  • Must be able to climb a ladder as needed.
