You'll be a technical expert and lead on Infrastructure projects involving design, analysis, maintenance, and implementation of core infrastructure systems as part of a strong IT team facing increasing work volume and complexity. Are you up for this challenge? As a Systems Administrator, every task you perform, every conversation you have and every issue you resolve enables the overall mission and goals of WSECU. Your day may include: Leading infrastructure solutions involving design, analysis, maintenance, and implementation of our core automation systems. Assisting the Business Process Automation (BPA) Team in fully understanding the implications of IT infrastructure and, if necessary, assisting in making informed decisions. Primary support of existing automation architecture and implementation of change requirements as part of a structured change control process. Communicate with BPA team on architecture related issues, suggestions and improvements. Reliable and secure technical operation and maintenance of all servers. Ensuring mission critical servers are available and operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Systems installation and removal to include installing and testing, decommissioning and removing, and system(s) components. Using a systematic approach to developing, maintaining, controlling, and distributing quality and environmental standards. Developing procedures and standards for installation and handover to maintain and improve the installation service. Providing effective team leadership, including information flow to and from the customer during project work Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of installations and ensuring that appropriate recommendations for change are made Installing, managing, controlling, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure systems software, to meet operational needs and service levels. Investigating and resolving system software problems, requesting action from supplier if needed. Configuring system software for required functionality and performance, and reviewing updates and identifying those that merit action Managing the life cycle of all problems that occur in delivering a service. Providing technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures Contributing to the planning and implementation of infrastructure maintenance and updates. Implementing agreed infrastructure changes and maintaining routines Using infrastructure management tools to determine load and performance statistics, and configuring tools and/or creating scripts to automate the provisioning, testing, and deployment of new and changed infrastructure Maintaining operational procedures and checking that they are executed following agreed standards What you bring to the team: Two (2) year technical degree or higher(combination of education, experience, and certification(s) may be substitution for the degree Minimum
