Express Employment Receptionist / Community Resource Support in Olympia, Washington

Express is now hiring a community resource support / receptionist at a local non profit based out of Olympia, WA. This is an evaluation-permanent opportunity. The schedule will be Monday -- Thursday from 9:00 am -- 5:00 pm, and 9:00 am -- 2:00 pm on Fridays. The compensation for this position will be $23.00-$24.50/hr. This company offers a benefits package to include Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits once hired on permanently by the client.

 

Job Duties:

  • Welcoming families and visitors
  • Directing families and visitors to community resources in the area
  • Answering phones
  • Entering client information into an industry specific database
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Accepting and organizing donations given to the agency
  • Spreadsheet data entry regarding information about received donations and desired donations
  • Assist guests with completing intake forms, confidentiality forms, etc.

     

     

Job Requirements:

  • Six months of recent experience working for a non-profit or resource based organization 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Software programs
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, living room environment that can be chaotic at times
  • Flexible attitude that is willing to learn new tasks and skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong typing skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills strongly preferred but not required
  • Comfortable working in a non-traditional office setting
  • A passion for helping others
