CHC is a caregiver-owned co-op that provides in-home care to our elderly community and folks with disabilities in Thurston, Lewis, Mason, and Gray's Harbor Counties. This means we really value our caregivers for the hard work they put into providing the best and most compassionate care, and the business decisions we make reflect that. We also support our workers through the process of training and certification.

Our co-op business model allows us to make sure everyone has a say in our actions and development as a business, form solid relationships with our clients and with each other in a no-judgment supportive learning environment. (And believe it or not, we don't encourage overworking or burnout!)

Work responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care, errands and transportation, meal preparation, ambulation, housekeeping and cleaning, companionship, and more.

What we'd like from applicants:

  • HCA or CNA license (preferred but not required)
  • Active driver's license and insurance, and/or reliable transportation
  • 1+ years of experience in caregiving, paid or unpaid
  • Willingness to adhere to health & safety standards
  • Knowledge of First Aid/CPR practices

The starting rate is $21/hour. * Upon membership, it becomes *$22.50/hour. We're looking for part-time positions at the moment, but with our growing client base that could quickly change to full-time. Because we're in the home care industry, hours are very flexible-- ideal for students, parents, and those looking for a second job!
