Need 6 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Olivia, MN. From: 02/01/2024 - 11/30/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. As required in Minnesota, all hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. ESST LAW: Employers must provide each employee in Minnesota, one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours a year. Must Apply By: 07/02/2024 NOTE: JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs duties like drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive trucks to transport crops, supplies, tools or workers. May be asked to pick rock or walk crop for weed. Will have to fix and maintain equipment. May be asked to clean equipment as well as the trucks and shop area. Crops: Corn, Dry Beans, Soybeans JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a Class D driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. Able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting and walking, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements. No HS Diploma or GED is required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
