Berks Career & Technology Center Part-time Cafeteria Worker in Oley, Pennsylvania

The Berks Career and Technology Center is currently seeking a part-time, 10-month permanent Cafeteria Worker position to start immediately at our East Oley Campus.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Experience in food service preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Able to operate point of sale (POS) system.

*Duties & Responsibilities: * Food preparation, portioning, serving meals, washing dishes and sanitation. Must be comfortable with operating a computerized point of sale system. Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with students and staff. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. High school diploma or equivalent minimum.

What is the schedule:  Daily working hours: 7:45 am to 12:45 pm or 9 am to 2 pm but can be flexible. (off in the summer months).

Salary and Benefits: Starting salary is $14.00/hour with annual increases. Personal and emergency days are awarded annually. Monthly contributions made into the school PSERS retirement system and free lunch daily!
