Job Description:

General Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning, developing, analyzing, executing and reporting all test initiatives required to validate software applications. Executes risk-based testing, develop test automation, performance testing, test data management, and test environment management. Document and perform all levels of testing including warranty and post release support. Work closely with the development and product teams to develop and execute the test plans, scripts/cases, track test data, identify expected results and log/facilitate bug resolutions. Experience and understanding of the stack of Automation testing and development tools.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Experience developing automated test cases using Tricentis TOSCA.

  • Thorough knowledge of automated testing design, Data driven test development techniques, Object recognition, and Test validation.

  • Creates and executes routine test automation using tools and techniques for end to end testing, regression, and/or feature level testing by applying strong testing best practices

  • Executes well-defined performance tests and demonstrates understanding of performance testing tools and techniques.

  • Ability to transform business test cases into automated test coverage and to analyze technical and non-technical requirements and translate both manual and automatable scenarios.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define automation test strategies and test plans.

  • Strong communication skills to assist other team members with test design, test approach, testing, story requirement clarification.

  • Works with development team and Product teams in understanding the requirements and documents testing needs as appropriate.

  • Validate, record and provide feedback to the Product teams about test results.

  • Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.

  • Maintain quality standards on all projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years’ related experience.

  • Up to 2 years’ software testing or development experience.

  • Understanding and familiarity with various testing automation tools, application software and operating systems.

  • Understanding of test automation and optimization throughout the application stack and tools to support testing.

  • Experience in developing or working with any programming language is preferred.

  • Agile experience a plus.

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

Preferred Certification:

  • Automation Testing, Tosca.
