Description
This position works closely with individuals, groups and leadership to provide guidance, evidence-based advisement, training, and support services to promote optimum holistic well-being for Paycom employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains complete employee confidentiality
Works directly with employees to provide guidance in the development of skills and strategies for building and maintaining optimal holistic human well-being
Analyzes collected data to derive human-focused insights to help inform program growth, direction, and strategic interventions pertaining to human well-being
Collaborate HR Workforce analytics teams to design, collect, and report data to evaluate true impact, evaluate the effectiveness of current interventions, activities, training, and benefits
Collaborates with leadership at all levels and across the organization to develop training programs, materials and other resources to meet identified needs
Evaluates and monitors employee progress in resolving identified needs
Acts as an advocate to coordinate required services or support to resolve needs in crisis situations
Refers employees to community resources and/or specialists as necessary
Collaborates with Employee Assistance Program (EAP), interfaith program, ERGs, and other partners/vendors, both internal and external, to develop creative solutions to support employees' mental and emotional health and holistic human well-being
Plans, organizes, and leads initiatives involving training for employees (e.g. coordinates talks and webinars with various subject matter experts and speakers, reading recommendations for Paycom book-clubs, etc.) to educate leadership and employees on well-being
Partners with HR teams to coordinate resources and provide aligned educational opportunities and programs for planned calendar events throughout the year
Remains knowledgeable by reading professional literature, attending courses and seminars and establishing and maintaining contact with community resources to benefit employees
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Sociology and Anthropology or a related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or other relevant certification
Experience:
- 3+ years of clinical counseling, therapy or social work experience
Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated experience with problem sensitivity and the ability to tell when something is wrong, or likely to go wrong
Active listening, ability and willingness to give full attention to what others are saying
Must be able and willing to take time to understand the point being made, asks appropriate questions
Demonstrates Social Perceptiveness; must be aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do
Experienced in monitoring and assessing performance and behavioral changes
Ability to think critically, use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems; identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Must be people focused with a service orientation, actively look for ways to help people
Must be an active learner and understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision making
Demonstrated experience with understanding and applying Learning Strategy, must be able to determine and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation
Must be an effective communicator and mediator to bring others together to reconcile differences;
Demonstrated experience in instruction and teaching others
Must have judgement and decision-making abilities, considers relative costs and benefits of potential actions, programs, etc. in order to choose or recommend the most appropriate
Must be able to manage time, one's own and the time of others
