The Hertz Corporation IT Auditor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

A Day in the Life:

  • Support IT Audit team by providing assurance services via Information Technology and Sarbanes Oxley 404 audits as well as advisory services on process improvement reviews and strategic initiatives.

The salary range for this position starts at $70K; commensurate with experience. Posting open until position is filled.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform risk assessments on technology processes and systems, documenting regulatory requirements, risks, control objectives, policies, procedures and standards to assess control effectiveness and develop remediation plans

  • Assess controls under review, perform audit testing to assess effectiveness of controls, identify findings, report deficiencies and deliver quality workpapers

  • Promote efficient practices by recommending improvements in processing capability, user interface, and security designs

  • Assist in planning and developing audit scope and procedures for the upcoming year

  • Discuss audit issues with management and co-develop action plans to address them timely

  • Build and effectively manage relationships with external auditors, Compliance, and Management teams

  • Participate in the completion of advisory engagements and strategic initiatives

  • Aid in developing risk assessment, governance training, awareness programs and materials, and conduct required training around regulations affecting IT and the business

  • Demonstrate positive team attitude and be consistently self-driven to learn new technologies and skills

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Management in Information Systems, Computer/Information Science, or IT systems

  • 2 years of relevant experience preferred

  • Ability to build and leverage internal and external relationships, facilitate decisions and results at all levels of the enterprise, and drive strategies and projects to solution.

  • Understand basic requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002

  • Possess strong analytical and technical skills

  • Demonstrate effective leadership and communications skills, both written and oral skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Willingness to travel 25% domestically

  • Acquired or plan to pursue one or more of the following certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT or other IT audit related certifications.
