Job Description:

As a Shop Tech, your main tasks include abrading metal surfaces for coating applications, masking designated areas before abrading, and ensuring blasted parts meet process requirements.

What youll be doing:

  • Abrade metal surfaces for coating applications.
  • Mask designated areas before abrading.
  • Ensure blasted parts meet process requirements.
  • Maintain machinery according to company guidelines.
  • Load and unload ovens.
  • Set up and operate a blast booth.
  • Maintain necessary records.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to three months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
