Job Functions

The Program Manager is a mid-level people manager of project managers and team leads up to 65 employees. This role will be responsible for Business Excellence aspects of Delivery: Revenue, Contribution Margin, Resource Management, Cost Optimization of the team etc. Effective delegation, team development, workload & project tracking, and identifying new resources to hiring onto the team will be essential for the manager’s success.

  • Program Manager. The Program Manager will lead a team of cross-discipline capable project engineers and execute project-specific organizational tasks in support of a number of customer projects. The successful candidate will be able to mentor, set Key Result Areas and monitor project health and customer feedback for team members.

  • Manage multiple Project Managers and Team Leads with projects while adhering to cost and schedule targets

  • Develop strategies to meet the business targets of the program (margin, revenue, HC)

  • Capability to form, guide, mentor and coach a project team of various disciplines

  • Drive project management organizational tasks including Global Project Framework

  • Present technical material to company and customer management teams

  • Additional responsibilities include ensuring that the team develops and executes with a mix of leadership and program responsibilities.

  • Process development and project management

  • Employee development and growth

  • Assisting with interviewing, hiring, and on‐boarding of new employees

  • Mapping career development plans. Review team’s skills and create competency matrix

Qualifications

We’re excited to talk to you if:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Master’s Preferred

  • 8+ years of previous leadership / managerial experience in operations or engineering

  • You can understand a customer’s problems and create new solutions to solve them.

  • Like to work in a fast paced, creative environment without a lot of management oversite. You are independent and forward facing.

  • The candidate must have the ability to physically and virtually manage a blended team of professionals and junior engineers. Enjoy people and dynamic teams with diverse experiences. We have fun together!

  • You are a strong communicator who can relate to customers, peers, and employees from different cultures and levels in the organization

  • Due to the nature of the customers, US Citizenship is required

  • Additional professional qualifications or certifications a plus

Some Travel required to customer location and other Quest Global offices

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
