JOB SUMMARY : As an Outbound Sales Representative at Love’s, you help create the energy and excitement about Love’s offerings in the trucking industry and partner with internal departments to create a complete experience for our customers. Love’s is dedicated to delivering a “best-in-class” customer experience that’s unlike any other in our industry, and you will be a crucial part in continuing to build our customer base and help business across the nation to experience the Love’s way.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Contact prospect clients by phone through provided leads in order to generate sales.

  • Obtain client interest by delivering an effective sales presentation of Love’s financial products, pricing, benefits and bundling of products.

  • Sustain a pipeline of suitable clients and move prospects through the sales process quickly and efficiently through closing stages.

  • Work with Sales Supervisor to structure new business solutions benefiting the prospective client and Love’s.

  • Work hand-in-hand with Operations in order to provide the “best-in-class” on-boarding experience for new clients.

  • Assist with and attend first implementation meeting for all new clients.

  • Participate in ongoing weekly team meetings and sales training to continue to enhance product knowledge.

  • Maintain knowledge of Love’s products and services.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:

  • High School degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Experience:

  • 1-5 years’ experience in call center or telemarketing environment.

  • Bilingual preferred.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:

  • Knowledge of all of our offerings and/or trucking industry a plus.

  • Extremely well organized with attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal presentation and phone skills; ability to handle heavy call volumes.

  • Sales and negotiation skills; specifically persistent, results driven, motivated, and ability to handle rejection.

  • Computer literacy a must in maintaining CRM sales database and heavy use of Microsoft Office products.

  • Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.

  • Occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
