Job Title: Millwright/Mechanical Technician

Location: De Soto, Kansas - per diem provided

Contract Duration: Mid-September 2024 to May 2025

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Position Summary:

As a Millwright for this project, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly, installation, alignment, and leveling of conveyor systems. Your expertise will contribute to the successful setup and operation of essential equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of conveyor systems.

  • Install, align, and level conveyor components and associated machinery.

  • Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete tasks efficiently.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation.

    Equipment on Site:

  • 6k & 10k Forklifts

  • 32ft & 40ft Scissor Lifts

  • 12k Telehandler Forklifts

    Required Qualifications:

  • OSHA 10 certification.

  • Relevant certifications for operating the equipment listed.

  • Proven experience in conveyor installation and general Millwright tasks.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Ability to use required tools and equipment safely and effectively.
