TVC Pro-Driver is a member of the Love’s Family of Companies and is a commercial driver’s license (CDL) protection subscription service with more than thirty-five years of experience assisting individual drivers and fleets in reducing or dismissing fines, preventing downtime for court and protecting compliance, safety and accountability (CSA) scores.

BASIC PURPOSE: The Field Sales Associate is a representative of the TVC Brand and will be a brand ambassador inside the truck stops providing membership opportunities to drivers as they conduct their daily business.

REPORTING LINE:

The Field Sales Associate will report directly to the Field Sales Manager. The Field Sales Associate is not a supervisory-level position.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Includes duties that the employee must be able to perform, either unaided or with the assistance of a “reasonable accommodation.”

  • Maintain a presence with customers

  • Quickly identify client needs as they walk into the truck stop, give a quick presentation while suggesting product/service features and benefits, quote prices, and close

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quota of 15 TVC memberships and fuel card offerings

  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints by providing exceptional service to both customers/prospects

  • Work with sales leadership to determine necessary strategic changes

  • All other duties as assigned and required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED) required

Professional Experience

  • Previous sales experience a plus

  • Knowledge of trucking industry a plus

Licenses, Certificates, Credentials, and Other Requirements

  • Experience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Skill Sets

  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented

  • Ability to perform in high-energy, dynamic, and team-oriented sales environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to: Stand, walk, sit for long periods of time, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs and/or ladders, maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear.

  • The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Environmental

  • Position will be assigned to an office work environment

  • Employee will be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time (including occasional visits to field work sites, if applicable).

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Schedule

  • Hours assigned by Field Sales Manager not to exceed 30 hours per week

Location

  • The location assignment is remote assigned by the manager

  • This location is subject to change and/or the position may be required to operate in additional locations.
