TVC Pro-Driver is a member of the Love’s Family of Companies and is a commercial driver’s license (CDL) protection subscription service with more than thirty-five years of experience assisting individual drivers and fleets in reducing or dismissing fines, preventing downtime for court and protecting compliance, safety and accountability (CSA) scores.

Basic Purpose: The Business Development Representative identifies and solicits new business through outbound and inbound phone calls. They build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects, including small fleets between 5-20 trucks.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and solicits new business; builds and maintains a full pipeline of sales prospects

  • Supports leadership in driving department goals

  • Actively participates in scaling sales team by shadowing new applicants and reviewing workflows

  • Work through company provided leads and seek business opportunities in the transportation industry

  • Identify client needs and suggest product/service features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quota of TVC memberships and fuel card offerings • Provide exceptional service to both customers and prospects to resolve customer inquiries and complaints

  • Work with sales leadership to determine necessary strategic sales approaches

  • Update all leads and opportunities through Salesforce CRM system

  • Joint accountability with group sales support to provide a “best-in-class” on-boarding experience for new clients

  • All other duties as assigned and required

Education and Experience:

Education

  • HS Diploma Required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Bilingual in Punjabi/Russian preferred

Experience

  • Knowledge of the trucking industry preferred but not required.

Licenses, Certificates, Credentials, and Other Requirements

  • Experience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM system is a plus

  • Ability to perform in high-energy, dynamic, and team-oriented sales environment

  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing high volume of calls per day

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Some travel required.

  • Position will be assigned to an office work environment or it can be remote.

  • Employee will be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time (including occasional visits to field work sites, if applicable).

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
