Workforce Innovation & Talent Center Manager

About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you'll be the engine driving our Workforce Innovation & Talent Center (WITC) to achieve its full potential. You'll lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring they seamlessly translate into effective day-to-day operations. You'll be a bridge builder, forging crucial partnerships and navigating complex ecosystems to connect job seekers with meaningful opportunities. Ultimately, you'll play a vital role in shaping a stronger workforce and fostering a thriving community.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning :

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the WITC's strategic plan, aligning it with workforce needs, economic trends, and community priorities.

  • Conduct data analysis and research to identify critical talent gaps and emerging career pathways.

  • Lead the development of innovative programs and initiatives that address identified needs and empower underrepresented communities.

  • Set clear operational goals, performance metrics, and timelines for strategic initiatives.

  • Manage the WITC budget effectively, securing funding and allocating resources strategically.

  • Operations & Execution :

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the WITC, ensuring efficient service delivery and program execution.

  • Implement robust project management systems to track progress, identify roadblocks, and ensure timely completion of initiatives.

  • Build and manage high-performing teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training and development programs for staff and program participants.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations.

  • Communication & Engagement :

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about WITC activities, successes, and impact.

  • Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration within the WITC and with external partners.

  • Publicly advocate for the WITC's mission and value proposition, building community awareness and support.

    Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a workforce development

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives for impact.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and identify solutions.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.

  • Passion for workforce development and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing underrepresented communities.

  • Experience building and managing collaborative partnerships within a complex ecosystem.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $91,800.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
