Job Description

We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Oklahoma City team . We are looking for candidates with at least 10 years of experience with wastewater and or/water treatment and infrastructure. The Assistant Project Manager is required to have an Oklahoma A Wastewater License.

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for training and overseeing the daily activities of the material handling staff and assisting in the operational planning, scheduling and controlling of water and wastewater plants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages teams related to hiring, on-boarding, performance management, utilization, training, development, salary, promotions, transfers and terminations. Coaches individual and team performance and improvement.

  • Evaluates overall project organizational structure and performance and recommends improvements, including changes in staffing, scheduling and equipment. Assists with project audits. Assists in the development of SOPs.

  • Ensures that all SOPs are followed and DOT, OSHA, Healthy and Safety and other requirements are met. Conducts routine facility inspections. Interacts with regulators as required.

  • Assists with inspections. Meets with regulatory officials to evaluate inspection findings and ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws.

  • Prepares daily, monthly and yearly reports including DMRs, MORs, etc.

  • Handles material procurements.

  • Ensures that the work order system and all maintenance records and other documentation is maintained properly.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience : Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in the operation of a water or wastewater treatment facility or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses/Certifications : Valid Driver’s License. Class A Wastewater Operator License or ability to receive reciprocity to Oklahoma.

Technical : Knowledge of water/wastewater facilities. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Ability to interpret analytical results.
