CHMC-ICU RN-Full Time-Day Shift-7a-7:30p-Requisition 7392

Provides comprehensive critical care nursing services for unstable patients of all ages who require continuous surveillance. This nurse uses critical thinking, technical skills and a holistic approach to implement purposeful and effective action in the face of life-threateneing events, and has the interpersonal skills to manage crisis.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Current NYS RN license. Successful completion of CHMC Chemotherapy course within 1 year of hire. Successful completion of PMCS within 6 months of position start date. Successful completion of an approved critical care course and ACLS is required within one year of position start date. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the life span and the ability to use the knowledge to individualize the plans and delivery of care. One and a half years of medical-surgical nursing experience or similar acute care background. Prior nursing experience in an intensive care setting is preferred.

Requirements: Bending, lifting, standing, walking.
