Weber State University Rental Center Specialist â Equipment in OGDEN, Utah

The OP Rental Center Specialist - Equipment will be responsible for managing and maintaining equipment fleets at the OP Rental Center. Duties include but are not limited to: Researching and implementing best practices related to gear maintenance,assisting with the preparation and management of the annual gear sale,assisting with the bi-annual inventory process,developing potential training/skill workshops for rental technicians,provide general instructions on the use of outdoor equipment to staff or customers. This position is expected to help improve efficiency and effectiveness at the program. As such,specialists will be expected to take initiative in improving the program by presenting ideas and projects to managers/coordinators,and to work towards implementing those specific projects. This position will work closely with the OP Coordinator and the student manager of OP Rentals. Candidates must have a strong interest in outdoor recreation,experience working with outdoor equipment,a desire to learn and expand skills related to equipment maintenance,the ability to lift 50 pounds,and great customer service skills.
