Job Title: Deputy Project Manager / Quality Control / Safety Manager (DISA)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services, Inc. has an immediate need for a Deputy Project Manager / Quality Control / Safety Manager at Hill AFB, Utah. QC / Safety responsibilities include ensuring, through various audits, inspections, tests, and measures that the Contractor’s personnel performing under this contract follow approved procedures / directives when performing repairs to equipment, performing work under service calls, alterations, and maintenance and variety of electrical, electronic, and HVAC systems. This position is also responsible for overseeing the project safety program to include providing weekly safety training to all site employees, investigating accidents, and reporting them and inspecting work sites to ensure proper safety techniques are being utilized by project personnel. Also serves as the Deputy Project Manager in the absence of the Project Manager. Project Manager may also delegate other management and administrative duties and responsibilities at their discretion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support an aggressive Quality Control Program that emphasizes on-going systematic analysis of potential problems to equipment or system failures

  • Test and inspect services / work performed by EMCOR, along with subcontractor staff, for compliance within contract requirements and client expectations.

  • Monitor building conditions, including hazardous waste disposal, for possible quality control issues or violations.

  • Monitor projects for safety or health issues and ensure proper permits are obtained

  • Provide administrative and technical direction with regards to all corporate safety and health programs, procedures, and policies.

  • Document quality activities, maintain and update all Safety Data Sheet information, analyze data / reports, and make recommendations for quality improvements.

  • Create and implement Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) for various activities and disciplines

  • Perform regular jobsite inspections and report results on safety metric indicators

  • Review and maintain accurate data for all training certifications and corresponding expiration dates

  • Take direction from Corporate Quality/Safety Department implementing and monitoring key policies and programs.

  • Investigate complaints and report findings to both Project Manager and Corporate Safety Department.

  • Promote quality and customer service excellence.

  • Manage Certificates and Permits Program.

  • All other duties as assigned by Project Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ safety and QC experience providing direct support to mission critical facility, physical plant, and IT operations. Experience in data center preferred

  • Proficient with CMMS software.

  • Experience with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) codes and standards

  • Active Secret Security Clearance Preferred; ability to obtain an Active Secret Security Clearance Required

  • Must be a United States Citizen
