The Center for Belonging and Cultural Engagement (CBCE) s mission is to create understanding,cultivate belonging,and enrich our Wildcat community by sharing the arts,heritage,history and beliefs of diverse cultures. We value these representative experiences and the engagement opportunities they provide with the community. Our vision is to build belonging by learning with and from each other,validating our unique experiences,to raise awareness and understanding of the history,culture and heritage of historically underrepresented populations in higher education.The CBCE Marketing and Promotion Specialist will work closely with the Executive Director,CBCE Program Managers,and University Marketing & Communications department to promote CBCE events and programming. This position will create marketing materials for events,help promote CBCE events,utilize social media such as Instagram and Facebook,and make website content updates.Through intentional learning outcomes,the CBCE Marketing and Promotion Specialist will gain transferable skills for the workforce. They will also be immersed in the community and work with our campus partners and student leaders.This position works for one academic year during the Fall and Spring semesters,up to 20 hours a week the ability to work a flexible schedule,including some nights and weekends when necessary.**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time,the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
