Position Summary

Caribou Thunder is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer I to join our team at Offutt AFB, NE, in support of a national defense contract. As a Full Stack Developer I, you will be responsible for developing full-stack Java-based web applications and integrating commercial and government capabilities into Department of Defense (DoD) products. This role requires working on-site in a Top Secret environment and collaborating with an Agile DevSecOps team.

Complete Description

As a Full Stack Developer I, you will play a crucial role in the development of full-stack Java-based web applications and the integration of commercial and government capabilities into Department of Defense (DoD) products.

  • Develop full-stack Java-based web applications.

  • Work in an Agile DevSecOps team environment.

  • Utilize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Collaborate on projects involving microservice architecture.

    Minimum Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java programming language.

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (Ext JS, React/Angular/Vue), CSS, and HTML.

  • Experience with containerization and deployment tools such as Kubernetes, Istio, Podman, or similar applications.

  • Experience with automated security scanning tools such as OpenSCAP, SonarQube, or similar applications.

  • Knowledge of database integration and technologies such as SQL.

  • Familiarity with messaging middleware and event-driven data architectures (Kafka, JMS).

  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Model-based engineering.

    Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with development tooling such as Eclipse, Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA.

  • Direct experience with Open Container Initiative (OCI) Compliance.

  • Knowledge of Spring Framework (SpringBoot, WebFlux, WebMvc, SpringSecurity).

  • Proficiency in Object/Relational Mapping Framework (Hibernate) and SQL.
