Description

Are you passionate about engineering and safety? Do you thrive in roles where you can make a real impact on product development and safety compliance? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Accelera by Cummins as our new Product Safety Leader for the HyStat platform.

Your tasks:

  • Drive product safety and compliance tasks to completion for the H500 platform.

  • Report product safety and compliance status to Chief Engineer and TPL (Technical Project Leader).

  • Make product safety decisions and participate in product safety engineering/design and risk assessment.

  • Inform Chief Engineer when the product reaches safety/compliance goals and is market-ready.

Qualifications

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/electric, chemical, process,…)

  • Our Ideal candidate would possess process and functional safety experience.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

  • Your open to travel to our customer site’s about 25% of the time.

  • Understanding of valves, mechanical, chemical, electrical, and control engineering.

  • Core skills in electro, chemical, mechanical, or software engineering.

  • Experience in petrochemical, industrial, oil & gas, or pharmaceutical industries.

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions and you have a structured approach to work with a broader scope.

  • Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of relevant experience
