System One Technical Sales Account Manager in Odessa, Texas

System One is actively seeking a Technical Sales Account Manager for a permanent position located in Odessa, TX.

Responsible for supporting the company's sales goals through relationship building, maintaining quality relationships with existing accounts, and providing technical and sales support.

Technical Sales Account Manager primary responsibility will be to develop and grow sales in a specific sales territory made up of customers ranging from but not limited to: Owner Companies, Engineering Houses, Construction and Installation Contractors and Original Equipment Manufacturers. The position is meant to meet or exceed the expectations of this diverse customer base or group. These customers have diverse and unique needs based on their specific market type, the role that they play, and the demands placed on them by their individual business environments.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Growing existing territory

  • Responsible for ensuring continued sales of traditional products as well as growth from new, strategic and custom solution products.

  • The Sales Associate will be expected to develop, deploy and work to an annual sales plan for their territory and to report progress or issues, on a weekly basis, using our “CRM” system. In addition a portion of the job is to identify and build relationships at customer locations, at the highest levels of management all the way to the end-user or installer at the plant site location within the customer base, in order to influence business decisions.

  • Must possess sophisticated business skills to analyze both the formal and informal culture within a varied customer base. The role requires proficiency in the complete company product and service offerings as well as knowledge of competitive products and industry applications.

  • Responsible for all VMI’s (vendor managed inventory) in their territory. This includes proposing, negotiating, implementing and servicing.

    Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Display a consistent high level of professionalism at all times. This is shown in timeliness, appearance and appropriate relationship with other associates.

  • Maintain a commitment to continuous learning

  • Each branch location is part of a larger organization whose goal is to act as a single entity.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • 5+ years of outside industrial business to business sales required

  • Travel in your own vehicle will be required to various locations including customers within our region.

  • Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations.
