Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in the Oconomowoc, WI area is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Technician to their team.

Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Company Overview: We are a leading manufacturing company located in the Oconomowoc, WI area, Committed to excellence in production and efficiency, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting. Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.

  • Performing repairs and replacements of faulty components to maintain production efficiency.

  • Collaborating with production personnel to address equipment-related concerns and implement preventive measures.

  • Documenting maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive measures, to maintain accurate records.

  • Participating in equipment upgrades and installations as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.

  • Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with expertise in pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
