Job Summary

Job Description

The Town of Ocean City MD and the Roland E Powell Convention Center is hiring for the Casual Labor - Part-Time position. The Casual Labor - Part-Time will assist with the set-up, layout, maintenance, and housekeeping of the facility. Duties include sweeping, mopping, washing windows, scrubbing walls, waxing, buffing, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming floors, stairs and office area as well as other duties as may be assigned. Commitment to excellent customer service and a positive attitude is desired.

Position Details

  • Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • The skill to operate a forklift is a plus.
  • Must have a high school diploma and a valid drivers license.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Hours vary between 24 to 40+ hours per week and work hours may exceed eight (8) hour shifts.
  • Hourly rate is $15.00, and you will work up to approximately between 24 to 40 hours, per week.
  • Hiring is subject to pre-employment drug screening and background check.
