Town of Ocean City Firefighter/EMS - Part-Time - Year Round in Ocean City, Maryland

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled Firefighter/EMS clinicians and Advanced Life Support Only clinicians to augment our full-time staff.

Individuals must be at least 18 years of age, meet the following requirements, and submit the below documents with the application:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.

  2. Possess a valid Maryland or National Registry EMT or Paramedic license, or Maryland CRT license. Successful candidates must obtain Maryland license or certification within 30 days of employment.

  3. Maryland Firefighter 1 certification, National Pro-Board Firefighter 1 certification or equivalent at the time of application. ALS Only clinicians are not required to possess this certification.

  4. Valid drivers license at the time of application with two (2) years driving experience and a satisfactory driving record.

  5. One year of validated experience in driving and operating an emergency vehicle in the emergency mode is preferred.

  6. Current BLS Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification.

Pay Rates:

P EMT Basic $20.62

P EMT Intermediate/ALS Only $21.9701

P EMT Paramedic $24.10

Successful applicants are subject to a criminal background check and a post-offer drug test.
