    We are currently looking for qualified full time Therapist to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals working with Adults dealing with psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. The Activities Therapist plans, organizes, coordinates and leads recreation therapy activities. The Activities Therapist will ensure the program is appropriate to the needs and interest and capacities of patients and is directed toward restoring and maintaining optimal levels of physical and psychosocial functioning. Responsibilities also include assessing each patient within seventy-two (72) hours of admission and completing daily progress notes on patient's participation toward recreation goals.     Qualifications

    Position Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy required with certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS).

    Preferred: Activities Director Certified (ADC), Occupational Therapist, or a Master's degree in Music or Art. Two (2) years of experience providing Recreation, Activities, Music or Art Therapy in a psychiatric setting with adult population or a Long Term Care setting preferred with a working knowledge of recreational therapy programing.

    Must have a driving record that meets The Vines Hospital driving policy standards.
