Summary:

We are currently looking for Mental Health Techsto join our team of Behavioral Health professionals working with Adults dealing with psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. The Mental Health Tech provides direct care support to ensure the safety and well-being ofour patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to interpret and implement patient care.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Interacts with patients, peers, and families.
  • Ability to follow behavior program.
  • Supervises therapeutic and recreational activities.
  • Practices motivational techniques.
  • Ability to problem-solve and communicate both verbally andin writing.

Requirements:

Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent. Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Direct patient care experience, CNA, or previous acute care/behavioral related experience preferred. Associate's degree/bachelor's degree in psychology or related field may be usedin lieu of related experience. Nursing students who have completed all pre-requisites can use education in lieu of related experience.

Work Schedule:

  • Day shift: 7:00 a.m.- 7:30 p.m. or Night shift: 7:00 p.m.- 7:30 a.m. (Full-time and PRN positions available).
  • Three 12-hour shifts a week, available to work every other weekend.

Salary:DOE.
