Aerotek Maintenance Helper in Ocala, Florida

Job Title: Maintenance Helper

Job Description

As a Maintenance Helper, you will be assigned to preventative maintenance or repairing equipment. Your work will involve electrical components, plumbing, 5S, troubleshooting, HVAC, and CNC equipment. Knowledge of 480V is highly beneficial. You will also replace filters and lightbulbs, clean equipment and the facility, and run conduit and pull wire as needed. About 80% of your time will be dedicated to preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Work from schedules, maintenance work orders, manuals, and instructions.

  • Complete preventive maintenance on doors, compressors, and air tools.

  • Repair toilets, sinks, urinals, light bulbs, air fittings, and AC filters.

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance routines on all plant equipment and facilities, including machine tools, hand power tools, power lifts, air conditioning systems, and air supplies.

  • Review and maintain records of preventive maintenance performed, and investigate unusual notations to determine unusual wear of parts and repair requirements.

  • Apply lubricants and grease fittings as required.
